Mission Trip Information
What we'll be doing
Six of our youth and one adult will be headed to the Navajo Nation in Northeastern Arizona. They will work in the community of Rock Point, Arizona (200 miles from Flagstaff), on the northeast portion of the Navajo Nation. There the youth will live for a week in the Rock Point Community School, sleeping in the gymnasium, and utilizing the school's bathrooms and showers. They will support and interact with the community through service work including roofing and a variety of construction work (porches, stairs, floors, wheelchair ramps, etc). for more information, you can click here.
Important dates
Trip dates: August 2-9 (although the group will probably be leaving on Aug 1 since its a 10 hr drive)
