Children's Ministry
(Infant through Sixth Grade)
The Children’s Ministries of St. Luke's of the Mountains aims to provide a safe, clean, loving Christian environment where every child feels valuable. This involves:“For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.” (Psalm 100:5)
- Worship at the child’s understanding and maturity level
- A place to come and learn, pray and fellowship together
- A place to share with friends.
Sunday Morning Worship Programs (Year Round)
Nursery Care (ages 0-3): Our loving staff provides our very young children a safe, interesting and developmental play experience. Available from 8:15 a.m. until noon. Located under the Sanctuary, entrance facing Foothill Blvd.Little Church – ages three through kindergarten: Many activities are planned around the Bible stories that are presented each week; Bible songs with hand motions, coloring, crafts, healthy snacks, and the use of felt boards in retelling the stories. The review of animal sounds, colors, and the various types of fruit are used to thank God for his bountiful creation.
Junior Church: The children from grade one through six continue to explore the many facets of God’s love through the Bible stories in both the Old and New Testaments. A vibrant and musically fun way to worship God through music is provided by the music ministers that are volunteering their time to enrich the lives of our St. Luke’s children.
